Why the owl

The great horned owl on our mark stands for precision, wisdom, focus and attention to detail. That is the whole reason we picked her.

Octopus Garden

The client knew one thing going in: bold, colorful and fun. Once the layout was settled we went through several rounds of design together and landed on orange octopus wallpaper, an ocean blue glass tile shower with two water outputs and a big comfortable bench, large-format blue chevron floor tile, and a custom vanity with a wall-mount spigot and a custom shaped mirror.

Calacatta Marble Kitchen

The client wanted a kitchen that read as theirs without giving up any function. We designed the whole room around their antique hutch and made it the heart of the space.

Housing Excellence Awards

Three awards, three rooms.

Best Remodel

Clients with a big empty basement and a love for hosting. The room had to carry game days and wine nights both, carved into zones without turning into a hallway of small boxes.

Best Bath Renovation

A dark color-drenched palette. Large-format black tile, matching matte black fixtures and a custom tiled shower bench, balanced by warm wood paneling across the wall and the slanted ceiling.

Best Kitchen Renovation

Built on custom Amish cabinetry, chosen for the craftsmanship, the durability and the natural warmth of the wood, with a handcrafted Rosemary Fireclay tile backsplash for texture.

Cleanliness

A tidy site, every day of the job.

A cluttered site makes for a cluttered mind, so we obsess over the order of ours. Floors, bannisters and walls get shielded before anything comes out. Your belongings get treated with care. Dust gets mitigated, the site gets organized daily, and we agree with you up front on where materials go and how the cleanup runs.

What to expect

Text us a photo of the room.

01

Contact

Text photos of your project to (412) 204-7073 with a short description of the scope. We call you back to hear about you and the room. This is our preferred first step because it saves you time, but the form and the phone both work too.

02

Design

We come out, look at the space and hear more about what you are picturing. After the walkthrough you get an official quote. If you go with us, material selection starts right away, and once it is finalized you go on the schedule.

03

Construction

Floors, furniture and nearby rooms are protected before work starts. The site is organized and cleaned daily, with updates throughout construction and a final walkthrough at completion.

“We hired PGH Enlightened to remodel our parents’ main bathroom to be ADA compliant for aging in place and to replace the flooring in the entire unit. The experience, led by Project Manager Alex and Foreman Donald, was outstanding.”
Darlene J. Lawrenceville Bathroom Remodel
“Alex, the owner of the company, did a fantastic job explaining the entire process, and also exuded a ton of confidence in answering all of my technical questions (e.g., why use x-material and not y-material), making it very easy for me to select ER.”
